Green Apple Award Nominees Announced!

The nominations for the Green Apple Award are in! This award is presented to an individual who works in schools and inspires students to learn about the environment and to practice sustainability at school and at home.

Take a look at who was nominated for the 2020 Green Apple Award!

  • Emily Davis, The Gardner School of Arts & Sciences
  • Carol Patrick, Roosevelt Elementary
  • Nancy Stoy, Lacamas Lake Elementary
  • Mark Watrin, Battle Ground Public Schools

The Green Apple Award will be presented at the Clark County Green Awards March 18th at Kiggins Theatre. Other awards to be given out that night include Green Business of the Year (small, large and nonprofit or government), Green Neighbor Award and Master Composter Recycler Superstar.
