2019 Green Apple Award Recipient: Rebecca Morris

​At the end of March, Clark County hosted the 2019 Green Awards. These awards recognize members of the community for their commitment and passion to a variety of environmental outreach programs that operate in Clark County. 

The Green Apple Award is presented to someone who goes above and beyond in their capacity to make positive changes in their school's environmental programs and shows leadership. While this can take an endless variety of forms through many schools and districts, we wish to recognize those who go above and beyond. For 2019, the Green Apple award goes to Rebecca Morris, Environmental studies teacher at La Center High School. Check out the video below that was presented at the Green Awards.
