The Green Awards is a celebration of environmental work throughout Clark County. Please join us March 20th at Kiggins Theater for the big event! Register here.
We collected nominations a few months ago for this year's Green Apple Award. This award is presented to an individual who works in schools and educates students to be mindful and to practice sustainability. See the
2018 Winner, Ali Coker from Camas High School.
There are so many deserving Green Team leaders, teachers, custodians, para educators, administrators, etc. that do an amazing job creating sustainable communities in our schools. We have a committee review each application and make a recommendation on their selection.
Nominees for the 2019 Green Apple award are:
• Angela Fojtik, Vancouver Flex Academy High School
• Rebecca Morris, La Center High School
• Sara Rodin, Marshall Elementary
• Doug Varenas, Fir Grove Children's Center
Other awards to be given that night are:
