Dirt Hugger Tour: July 24th

On July 24th, we are offering a unique opportunity to tour Dirt Hugger, the composting facility in Dallesport, WA, that processes from all the food waste collected in Clark County. They turn that food waste into nutrient rich compost that is used throughout the region to grow more food.

We would love to see Green Team leaders, educators, administrators, and facilities staff from all across the county come out with us to learn more about the how the food waste generated from your school is turned into high quality compost, and why contamination is so important to remove from bins. 

Lunch and transportation will be provided.
