Free LED's for schools from Clark Public Utilities

We have some exciting news from our friends at Clark Public Utilities!

Just in time for St. Patrick's Day, Clark Public Utilities is helping schools be a little greener while helping them save some green at the same time.

The utility is offering free 60 watt-equivalent, dimmable LED bulbs to schools across Clark County. Perfect for a teacher's desk lamp and enclosed fixtures, these bulbs last for more than a decade use about a tenth of the energy of traditional incandescent bulbs . There are currently 900 bulbs available for distribution.

School Green Team leaders or any other staff interested in saving energy can count the number of bulbs needed in their building and contact Clark Public Utilities.

To get your free bulbs, contact:

  • Bill Hibbs, Clark Public Utilities Commercial & Key Account Manager
  • 360-992-3340
  • BHibbs@clarkpud.com

Please include your name, quantity needed and the school the lamps need to be delivered to in your email.

Thanks Clark Public Utilities!
