The Clark County Green Awards is an annual celebration of our community's best environmental champions. Awards recognize outstanding sustainability work being done by individuals, organizations and businesses in Clark County. Winners are selected from individuals, businesses and schools nominated by our community as recognition of their green efforts!
The Clark County Green Schools program is proud to present the 2022 Clark County Green Awards!
The Clark County Green Apple Award is presented to an individual involved in school (public or private) sustainability initiatives, projects and programs.
The 2022 Clark County Green Apple Award is presented to Alexandra Yost for her dedication to developing sustainability initiatives at Washougal High School. Alexandra and Washougal High School are a great example of how students, teachers, and administrators can work together to accomplish lofty goals!
The Clark County Green Team of the Year Award celebrates the amazing students who participate in their school's green team and work on environmental projects to create a healthy and sustainable culture around campus.
The 2022 Clark County Green Team of the Year Award winner is the Hockinson Heights Elementary School Green Team. This school has set an excellent example of how a Green Team can not only have lots of fun, but also can succeed at teaching students about sustainability!

The Clark County Green Business program also presents three Green Business of the Year awards.
The Clark County Master Composter Recycler Volunteer Program also presents the Volunteer Superstar of the Year award.
