Elementary Student Summit - April 11th
We're back with another round of our Elementary Student Summit on Thursday, April 11th! This Summit will take place at Clark College in the Gaiser Student Center from 9:30am-1:30pm. We invite green teams from elementary schools within Clark County to join us for a fun day to learn about how we can care for the land, air, water and species that live in our community. Light snacks and lunch will be provided. Substitute and transportation reimbursement can be requested. Please email Sami at samantha.springslecain@clark.wa.gov for more information. Who: Elementary Green Teams, 1-2 chaperones and up to 10 students per team
STEM Seminar: A Taste of Food Waste
If you missed our fall seminar, don't worry - there's another chance to attend it in March and April! Through asynchronous and synchronous learning, seminar participants will take a deep dive into food waste and how it impacts our climate and community. Educators will receive 10 STEM Clock Hours upon completion of the seminar experience. This opportunity is offered in coordination with our partners at EarthGen.
