Join us for the Clark County Elementary School Student Summit on March 30th!

Calling all Clark County elementary school Green Teams! We are excited to announce the upcoming Elementary School Summit hosted in partnership with EarthGen this spring. Students and teachers from around the County will gather to engage with science and sustainable solution activities.

Looking for some inspiration on what project to start next with your kiddos? Join us Thursday, March 30 from 9 am to 1 pm at Clark College. Clark County Green Schools will lead an exercise focusing on food waste prevention and waste reduction. Some other lessons taught by organizations our community include air and water quality activities.

We are inviting up to 10 students from each school and 1-2 staff members to support their team. No matter if you're just starting the certification process, or already on your third project – we want to see you there!

Lunch will also be provided! There will be vegetarian and vegan options available, as well as a compost bin and reusable dishware.

Registration Details

Clark County Green Schools is providing reimbursements for substitute teachers while you attend the summit, as well as the transportation costs to the event. Check in with Samantha Springs LeCain for more information.

What the Clark County Green School's team is looking forward to the most, is hearing directly from you, our school community, about all the work, ideas, and project progress happening in Clark County. EarthGen is providing guidance, advice, and the opportunity to share your personal project stories with other like-minded students, teachers, and parents.
