Clark County Solid Waste and Recycling is excited to announce a fun and engaging new internship program for high school students at Fort Vancouver High School and Hudson's Bay High School! We're looking for driven and enthusiastic students who are interested in horticulture, farming, or composting. Through hands-on training, students will learn about various composting techniques, compost science, sustainable agriculture and strategies to prevent food waste. Students will take what they learn and apply it to action projects that will be implemented at their high schools. The training will be on Mondays from 2-6pm at Heritage Farm. Mondays are early release days so students will not miss any class. Please email Sami at samantha.springslecain@clark.wa.gov with any questions.
