Clark County Green Schools Summit November 9, 2017

Washington Green Schools and Clark County Green Schools invite Green Teams from K-12 schools across Clark County to engage in real-world, STEM-based learning experiences that advance environmental sustainability in schools.

Registration Deadline: Friday, October 20th

Students will:

  • Learn from sustainability specialists and connect with local partners who can support their goals
  • Present the sustainability work they've been achieving at school
  • Brainstorm and plan environmental action projects to lead on campus
  • Share ideas with peers at other schools
  • Join the Clark County green schools community

Join us for the Clark County Green Schools Student Summit

How many people can attend from each school?
We invite 2-4 students and 1-2 staff members per Clark County school to join us at the Summit.

Are students of all ages welcome?
Yes! We've designed the program to make it well suited for elementary, middle, and high school students.

We're just starting our green schools work. Can we still attend?
Of course. In fact, the Summit is a great way to kickstart enthusiasm for all things environmental action for the school year.

Will we receive sub reimbursements?
Yes. Our partners at Clark County Green Schools are generously providing substitute reimbursements.

Will we receive transportation reimbursements?
Yes. Clark County Green Schools is also covering transportation costs (you will work with your office administrator to make the bus arrangements on your own).

Will we receive lunch?
Yes! Every attendee will receive a healthy lunch.

What do I need to do before the Summit?

After you RSVP, Washington Green Schools will follow up with an attendee packet. We encourage you to complete and email this packet to us as soon as possible!
