  • Hear success stories from other teachers and get your questions answered
  • Explore how you can get your school recognized through Washington Green Schools certification

Frequently asked questions and answers

I have a question about the training. Who should I contact?
Email nayiri@wagreenschools.org - we'll get back to you within 48 hours!

Will I receive clock hours?
Yes. You'll receive 3 clock hours when you attend the training.

Will I receive substitute reimbursement?
Yes! Our partners at Clark County Green Schools are generously covering sub costs.

I've already certified my school with Washington Green Schools - should I come?
We highly recommend it! In addition to sharing program updates and new resources, we'll also be connecting teachers with community partners and other Green Team leaders.

I've never certified my school as a Washington Green School. Is this the event for me?
Definitely. We'll start from scratch so you'll leave knowing what our program can offer you, how to start an environmental action project on campus, and how to get recognized for your work.

Should I bring anything?
Please bring a laptop or tablet, if you have one.
